Yes. You can complete a district-based apprenticeship program or a district-based mentored, teacher of record program. A directory of district-based programs with contact information is available on the DOE website. For more information about alternative paths see Section 7.05 of the DOE regulations, specifically Routes 3, 4 and 5.
