Are there a MINDACT Steering Committee and an Independent Data Monitoring Committee (IDMC)?
Both these committees exist. The MINDACT Steering Committee was formed before the trial started recruiting and includes representatives from groups participating in the trial and other individuals that are not currently members of the TRANSBIG Steering Committee. In accordance with the common practices for studies run under the BIG umbrella and the EORTC, the MINDACT trial is supervised by an IDMC.
