Are there 2-channel amps out there that can be bridged to 1 channel?
I just looked at most of the mobile authority amps, on a web site, and most of the dual channel amps are bridgable at 4 ohms. another thing you can check most of the time the amp will say somewhere on the top or bottom of the amp if it is, and it will say what it recommends. and yes this is recommended by some amp companies as long as it is at 4 ohms, and no its not to much power for 1 channel because bridging it is wiring both channels to a single voice coil, and most people do this to run the 2 channel amp as a mono block amp to a subwoffer to get more power out of the amp. the closet amp i could find to yours was a 125 watt t1006 series, or the 450 watt a1200 series, they are both 2 channels and bridgeable so i would say that yours is more then likely bridgeable.
