Are ther any side-effects from using Acupuncture?
One of the great advantages of acupuncture is the absence of serious side effects associated with its use. This is in contrast to many potent medications in which severe side effects in certain cases may be worse than the disease being treated. At the same time, acupuncture can be used in conjunction with Western medication, to minimize such side-effects. Patients are advised to seek Western medical care for any condition treated by acupuncture, and never to stop any medication without first consulting with a doctor.
