Are their many British people buying property in Turkey?
Yes, the last few years have seen a considerable amount of Brits buying over here. There are many reasons for this: Some people have decided to invest their pensions in property over here others due to the small return on their savings in Britain. Some people simply cant get on to the property ladder in Britain and have purchased over here with a view to sell in later years to enable them to purchase later in England. Others have huge equity in their homes and have used it to purchase a dream holiday home. Others simply have surplus cash and see a great opportunity to invest for the future! Quite many more have simply sold up and moved to Turkey because of the great climate and the low cost of living. The people are warm and friendly; the crime rate is extremely low, what could be more perfect!
