Are their any halal food in canada for muslims , and restaurants??
It depends were you are, here in Toronto, the are several Halal butchers/grocerys, and most large grocery stores have Halal meats or products, and in the GTA I know several restaurant, both Arabic owned or Indian that serve a strict Halal based menu, it is not hard to find but is not a common sight. In other large citys, like Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton, Wnnipeg, Ottawa, Montreal and Halifax, it may be harder but there is such a large Muslim population now in Canada from Arabic countrys, Africa and India that like all of the sub groups, they bring there customs and foods with them and it is a natural progresstion to open ethnic based stores and butcher shops, just take a look in you area or the Yellow Pages, call around, there is bound to be a seller somewhere.
