Are their any Environmental impacts with POLYESTER RESIN?
Polyester is a man made fibre that comes from Oil – it is basically a plastic. So you could mention the impact of extracting and refing fossil fuels. The outdoor clothing company Patagonia make their fleeces from recycled plastic – might be worth a quick look. As it’s a plastic, surely it takes ages to decompose, and releases nasty chemicals into the ground as it does so. Burning it would release horrible stuff too.
