Are theatres open 7 days a week and on Bank Holidays?
Most London theatres are closed on Sundays, with most open Mon – Sats. Except for one or two, all main West End theatres remain open as usual during Christmas and New Year. They will only close on Christmas Day itself. Most theatres will have an earlier start time on Christmas Eve. The rest of the time the theatres are open normally, in fact many have extra matinee performances. However many Fringe theatres may be closed over Christmas. Most Theatres operate normally on all other Bank Holidays.
