Are the winters really cold and snow filled?
Contrary to popular belief the winters in Estes Park are very mild, and as a matter of fact, we have lots of sunshine throughout the winter months. We often have warm temperatures in the 40’s during winter days. Estes Park does get snow but it doesn’t last for very long. It snows much more at upper elevations, so if you want to enjoy snow activities you can always take a short drive and find a snowy Rocky Mountain winter.
