– No, the VS-1680’s and all V-Studio’s optical jacks are not compatible with the ADAT lightpipe optical jack. The V-Studio optical jack supports 2 channels (stereo), the ADAT Lightpipe supports 8 channels. You can buy converters for cheap that can turn the V-Studio optical signal into a SP/DIF signal so you can make use of the second jack (1680) for interfacing with digital sound cards.
