Are the voice samples in modern music real or synthetic?

I haven’t listened to the song, but simply based on what I have heard out there, it seems that most music these days relies too heavily on pitch correction tools. The way I see it, pitch correction is a great tool if the singer is talented but might have accidentally hit a slightly sour note or two. The pitch correcter can clean this up rather than spend unneeded time and money on another take. But when music is absolutely saturated with this ill-begotten effect, it destroys the integrity of music. Especially when the use of it becomes as blatant as it has.
