Are the various cigar fluids and juices really necessary and do they work?
A. If you keep an eye on your hygrometer regularly and fill your humidification unit as needed, you should be OK using just distilled water. We haven’t exactly found any research reports on their effectiveness. However, it won’t hurt to use them every few months to rejuvenate the sponge in the humidification unit.
