Are the US and Israel bluffing Iran with an attack to force changes in policy?
The US and Israel can not afford to bluff Iran into thinking that we can use force to change their policy. Those days are long gone for policies dealing with the Middle East in general and Iran in particular. The Iranians proved that years ago when they held US captives in the 1980’s, when the Ayatolla Komehni was in power. President Jimmy Carter attempted to change Iran’s human rights policy the message sent back to the US was do not interfer with Iranian policies. What the US has failed to realize is we are not the policeman of the world as our policy makers seem to think. Iran is a true threat to world peace and Israel is the prime target but she has been for the last sixty years since she was formed after World War Two.
