Are the upper and lower case letters the same size for the custom vinyl wall letters?
A. When you order custom vinyl wall lettering we size everything to a capital “A” in the font you have chosen. For example, when you order the name “Ashley” in 8-inch letters, the “A” will be 8 inches tall and the remaining letters will be sized proportionately. The exact size difference will depend on the font, (in this case, the overall height will be close to 12 inches because the “y” dips down) but in all cases the letters will remain proportionate. Please note that because this is our standard measuring process, if you order all lowercase letters (sam, for example) in the 8 inch size, they will really be closer to 6 inches tall because they will be sized proportionately to an 8 inch uppercase “A.” If you have any concerns about the sizing of your letters, please contact us and we are happy to provide you with a graphic and exact measurements.
