Many years of research and consultation by EarthLinked with metallurgy experts clearly established that 1) coating the earth loops was not appropriate because any small breach in the coating would focus all galvanic action at that location, and 2) the only scientific method of precluding corrosion is to establish a protective electrical field that surrounds the earth loop cluster (as does the EarthLinked Cathodic Protection System).
