True Blood books are definitely worth reading. I’ve read the twilight saga and the true blood books story is very different from it. The only similarity is that both girls are in love with a vampire and Sam is a shape-shifter who can change from a human to a dog (a bit like Jacob but a Jacob is a wolf). Apart from that its very different. If you enjoyed reading twilight then you will most likely enjoy reading true blood books.
