Definition of a moderated mailing list (from NetLingo.com): “A mailing list that is screened by a moderator. The messages are sent to the list owner first, so the moderator can review and approve them before they’re distributed to subscribers.” The Baba listserv is moderated. The Baba-talk listserv is not moderated. If a subscriber behaves in gross disregard of the ethical guidelines, that person will be reminded, and if s/he proves unresponsive, will be individually moderated. The Quotes only listserv is not open to messages from individuals.
