No. Heat treatable stainless steels are rust resistant, not rust proof. The stainless steel RaceFrame sold in-the-white can rust if not cared for appropriately. To protect it against corrosion, we recommend coating it with one of our premium finishes – NP3 or Roguard, both of which are guaranteed for the life of the firearm against corrosion, peeling or flaking.
