Are the special project budgets and narratives consolidated into the final comprehensive ABE grant budget?
Yes, the special projects will be mentioned in the 20-page comprehensive narrative and elaborated on in supplementary 3 – 4 page narratives. The budget information will be added to the comprehensive grant, and each special project will have its own budget detail pages (pp. 55-56 in the RFP) and budget narrative. $600,000 is just a ballpark amount and the special projects don”t need to be figured in this amount. What will be key in grant awards is that the need for services is documented in the community assessment. If there is a clearly documented need, then XXX dollars are possible.
