Are the skills I’ll be learning just for pregnancy and birth?
No. Although the focus of BirthBody session is to prepare you for birth, the mental preparation and relaxation skills you learn will last a lifetime. After your baby’s birth, your relaxation skills will help you (and your partner) and your baby to be calm. If you choose to breast feed your baby, your relaxation can aid breastfeeding. You will learn techniques to help you feel rested even if you experience broken sleep – a common complaint of new parents.
