All Federal Signal strobe systems introduced prior to the SilverSeries and Ricochet systems used unique electrical and mechanical connectors. The wiring on those systems were color coded on both the power supply and strobe tubes as red, white, black, and the gender of the connector was opposite of others used in our industry. With the SilverSeries and Ricochet introductions, Federal Signal adopted the industry pinning standards and connector genders. To install a SilverSeries or Ricochet power supply into an earlier Federal Signal strobe system, use the converter kit (#413202) to simplify installation.
