Are the seats numbers 100% accurate?

0

No. The process of determining the number of free seats is; the number of physical workstations in a workarea… • less the number of workstations which don’t respond because they have been switched off or shut down by the previous user, have been disconnected from the network, or are faulty • less the number of workstations where someone was logged in when the previous two-minute check was run There will in all likelihood be some discrepancy between the numbers shown and the actual occupancy because of the two-minute sample time and the time needed to register a workstation as logged-in, or disconnected. In practice we have found that the number is accurate to within one or two workstations per workarea.
