Are the sauces family recipes?
No, all of the sauces were created by Adam alone. During his college years, he was most often the cook for his housemates. It was then that he experimented with flavors until he perfected what is now known as Yoshio’s Original Teriyaki Sauce. Just out of college, he began bottling his sauce to give as Christmas gifts and soon decided to add another flavor to his repertoire: Spicy Thai Teriyaki. During the winter of 2008/09, after much encouragement from family and friends, Adam decided to focus on taking his sauce to the consumer market. That is when he created the remaining five flavors; BBQ Blend, Smoked Black Pepper, Hawaiian, Mandarin and Extreme.
