Well, I don’t quite think any material in storage will do because Passive House standards are pretty strict. You need to meet their high level of requirements in order to qualify. That actually confuses me to whether or not you can just get by with however you do your house as long as you know what criteria they have up for you.

I’m interested in the Passive House design standards; the claim of up to 90% savings in my heating bill is very motivational. I’ll be starting the design and build of my home within the next year and and wonder how exotic the materials are to do a Passive House.
