Are the Rug Doctor carpet cleaner rental machines any good?
On One Hand: Cleans Carpets at a Reasonable PriceThe Rug Doctor, which you can rent for around $20 a night, cleans carpets using a carpet shampoo made especially for itself and comes with an upholstery attachment. You simply have to fill the machine with hot water and the appropriate amount of shampoo and push it over your carpet while following simple instructions. On the Other: Time-consuming and No Water HeaterUnlike relying on a professional carpet cleaning company, with the Rug Doctor you have to do all of the work yourself. It takes quite a bit of time to run a Rug Doctor over your entire carpet area, especially if you have a large square footage. Plus, because the Rug Doctor does not heat the water, the hot water in the machine can get cold before it’s time to change it out, making the Rug Doctor less effective.Bottom LineThe Rug Doctor is a cheap alternative to professional carpet cleaning. If you simply cannot afford to hire experts, you can use a Rug Doctor to clean your carpe
