Spark of Life Foundation is not associated with any church or religious organization. The Spark of Life Retreats are not ‘church’ retreats. However, there are spiritual aspects of grief that need to be dealt with. David and Debbie Mathews, who are the primary retreat leaders, have served in ministry for over 30 years at various churches around the country. Their desire is that each retreat will be open to all people, regardless of their religious background.
