Are the Residence Halls Wi-Fi compatible?

A Yes they are. Our wireless internet supports A, B, and G systems. If you can walk into a Starbuck’s and use your lap top then it should work here. If you have a PC, check with your dealer where you purchased your system and ask them if you have the appropriate card in your PC or if you need to purchase one. Additionally, each resident has a phone line in their room that can be activated through SBC/AT&T at the residents expense. Residents can use DSL or dial up service through SBC/AT&T or another provider. You may contact SBC/AT&T at 1-800-310-2355 for an estimated cost. If you do not have a computer there are three computers in the commons that are connected to the internet.
