Are the “Research Dossiers” just like the white paper libraries available on other websites?
No. Generally speaking, free listings of white papers are free for a reason. Most of their content is promotional material from sponsors and advertisers. Also, such libraries contain as many resources as possible – with little editorial oversight. Entries are often not pre-screened or filtered for quality or relevance. In many cases users are free to upload their own white papers to these repositories, making the resulting list no more useful than simply Googling for a particular topic.
