Are the question types the same in the Computer-based Test and the Standard (pencil and paper) Test?
A. The BULATS Computer-based Test shares many of the same question types as the Standard paper test. The Standard test additionally includes three kinds of tasks that are not used in the Computer-based Test: listening activities in which candidates write in words and numbers to complete forms and notes; listening tasks in which candidates match different speakers to lists of statements; an error correction task in which candidates write the corrected form of words.
