Are the published returns of the investments AIMR-compliant?
The Association for Investment Management and Research, now known as the CFA Institute, establishes standards that all investment managers must use in the calculation of performance returns. The CFA Institute helps them reach these standards by educating and examining investment managers and analysts. Most registered investments have AIMR-compliant investment returns. Unfortunately, private investments don’t always provide audited returns for their clients.
