The PROFIT-1st.com systems are specially configured for the Business Intelligence Suite. Using Microsoft SQL Server as basic database software and the fact that Microsoft uses Compaq systems to develop software, PROFIT-1st.com has chosen the Proliant systems of Compaq. We use a separate Compaq webserver and a separate Compaq dataserver with the newest Microsoft Windows 2000 server software as well as the newest Microsoft SQL Server database software. This configuration is connected with the Internet Service Provider “Euronet Internet”, one of the most reliable Dutch business to business internet providers, through a secured leased line. The server capacity is optimized in relation with the bandwidth of the leased line. As a result the weakest link in the chain is in fact the internet connection of the individual users of your company.
