Are the practitioners at ABC Prosthetics & Orthotics licensed by the State of Florida?
Yes! As of 1998, Florida State Law requires Prosthetists & Orthotists to pass a written exam and go before the Board of Health to obtain licensure in order to treat patients. All practitioners at ABC Prosthetics & Orthotics are licensed by the State of Florida’s Department of Health. Our staff also regularly earns continuing education credits as required by the State. We frequently attend meetings and seminars which concentrate on potential advances in the fields of prosthetics and orthotics that could prove to be beneficial to our clients.
