Are the politicians sat on the front benches of the Government good role models to the younger generation?

I always thought that the cut and thrust of Politics was very interesting, until I saw it on TV. The way the House is run is archaic and it seems that is the way they like it. I would much rather see the formality displayed in a different way. The contributor who remarks it is like a common room is right, with some rhetoric deserving of the Public School farces. However, I don’t think this is the perogative of one side of the House. Both sides, including the Liberal Democrats have been known to ‘debate’ in a very peculiar way. What I am heartened with is the absence of swearing and any other bad language, something often seen on this site, and the obvious absence of those who transgress, being admonished for breaking the Rules of the House. Having said all that, there is room for improvement. Yes, some Politicians think they are greater than others; perhaps they are but scoring cheap point in a place where this Country’s future is managed is unacceptable. It makes good TV but the major
