Yes. If a student believes s/he has been misplaced on the basis of the placement test, s/he should talk to the Foreign Language Coordinator. Upon consultation, the student can be moved one level higher or one level lower than the one into which s/he was placed by the test.

The foreign language placement scores are advisory. In Spanish, instructors give a follow-up test during the first week of instruction.

No for all three languages; retesting is NOT allowed. If a student believes that he/she has been misplaced, he/she should talk to the instructor, who will then recommend a transfer to the appropriate level.
