Many pharmacies affiliated with nursing homes are part of the Medco network. Any prescription filled through a pharmacy in the Medco network will be processed through Medco with all the discounts applied. If the pharmacy used by a nursing home is not in the Medco network, the prescription will have to be paid by the employee, who will then have to file a claim for reimbursement. • I received a prescription benefit description in my welcome packet, but it is for the wrong plan.
