Are the performance indicators for the Initiative going to be amended to reflect the inclusion of AHSPs?
The Department requested that PHCRIS make some amendments to the online reporting system, including updates to the Performance Indicators for the Initiative. These updates have been completed and the performance indicators for the 2007-08 Annual Plans now reflect the expansion of the Initiative to include allied health providers. Essentially these changes have been made by adding the words “and allied health services” to indicators 1a, 2a and 2b. For example, performance indicator 1a now reads “RACFs advice that access to GPs and allied health services has improved”. The Department has provided the network with proposed new performance indicators for the Panels Initiative for consideration and feedback.
