Are the pacers going to run the entire marathon?

Our pace group leaders run half marathon legs and will transition to the 2nd leg pacer around the half marathon mark. The 2nd leg pacer will shadow the 1st leg pacer for about a mile or so to make sure they’re on pace and then they’ll take over and run to the finish.
