Very safe, comfortable and very affordable. It costs about $25 for a one way ticket to La Paz from San Jose or Cabo San Lucas. The buses are air-conditioned, comfy/assigned seats, clean and with movies! It will take between 2.5-3.5 hours depending upon the route up to La Paz , the amount of traffic and road conditions.
