In the website provided, it states that The Sims 2 and The Sims Life Stories are two completely different games. In the case of having two different games, one would expect that each would have its own different packs. If you only have one of the games, make sure you are getting the pack for the right game. They will probably be releasing packs for both games at the same time, approximately, so not every pack will be for The Sims 2 or The Sims Life Stories. Do not assume that because if a game is released then all following packs are for the latest game. Companies, especially Maxis, sometimes make packs for all their games even if one is older. It is possible for Maxis to release a pack for The Sims (the first one), even though they released The Sims 2, but they would indicate that it is intended for that game. Prepare for some overlap of packs between The Sims 2 and The Sims Life Stories.
