Are the old 7 wonders of the world a good example of abundance?
No, they were examples of technical brilliance on behalf of those people who created them. They were all buildings or constructions of some type which used cutting edged mechanical, design and mathematical knowledge of the day. The original Seven Wonders of the World consists of: The Great Pyramid of Giza (the most ancient as well as the only surviving structure), the Hanging Gardens of Babylon, the Temple of Artemis at Ephesus, the Statue of Zeus at Olympia, the Mausoleum of Maussollos at Halicarnassus, the Colossus of Rhodes, and the Lighthouse of Alexandria. As what they celebrated was human genius and accomplishment. I suppose the opposite would be those societies which were underdeveloped by the standard of the day and not amassed any technical knowledge, rather than a lack of ‘abundance’ which would suggest a lot of something, but somethings which may or may not be of any value.
