Are the NSCH data files available to the public?
Yes. Downloading a copy of the dataset can be done in two ways. First, state-level datasets with all of the questions shown on the NSCH and NS-CSHCN websites are available in SAS and SPSS formats by clicking on the Request a Dataset link. Second, this dataset can also be downloaded in SAS format at no cost from the NCHS website: www.cdc.gov/nchs.
