Are the notification requirements under 10 CFR 35.14 treated as requests for amendment of the license?

0

If the licensee follows the requirements in 35.14 and the requested information is appropriate and complete, the action is not an amendment request; the changes noted will be incorporated into the license during the next licensing action (amendment or renewal). However, if the NRCs license reviewer determines that the information provided does not meet the requirements in 35.14, the licensee will be notified that an amendment request is needed. Refer to Supplementary Information, Section III, Summary of Public Comments and Responses to Comments for 35.14, as published in the Federal Register on April 24, 2002.
