Are the Northstar V8 Engines notorius for breaking down?
The northstar engine is great until it blowns a head gasket and starts leaking oil and water. If you have one you should start a class action lawsuit, because they have had enormous numbers of problems with that engine. Most problems start about 90k miles. I am amazed that Cadillac can get away with it (they are still producing the northstar engine).
