Well, as far as the manufacturing facility of the new hybrid cars is concerned, they generate pollution almost same as the manufacturing plants manufacturing the traditional gasoline vehicles. In fact in most of the cases the facilities used for manufacturing gasoline vehicles is also used for manufacturing the new hybrid vehicles. When you drive the new hybrid cars on the road, they consume much lesser fuel than the gasoline cars. This creates lesser CO2 emissions and helps keep the environment clean to some extent, thus the hybrid cars are not 100% environment friendly. 4) Safety aspects of the hybrid cars: New hybrid cars are fitted with 12V battery, which may be source of concern for some people who think that in case of collision the wires may get exposed, which can be dangerous. For others the light body of new hybrid cars can be risky to carry.
