No. The technology and the process of manufacturing Effective Microorganisms is from Japan. The microorganisms are purchased within the country in which EM-1® Agricultural Microbial Inoculant is manufactured. Effective Microorganisms are currently produced in 54 countries. In the U.S., the microorganisms are purchased from a U.S. national microbial bank and then kept and cultured within EMRO USA’s laboratory at its manufacturing facility.
