Are the Mastercyclers® tested according to GS (safety-tested)?
Our Mastercyclers® are tested according to the higher CE standard of quality. Whereas the GS label only requires that a unit in the product development phase be tested by TÜV, the German technical inspection authority, the CE mark requires proper development and production, complying with product-specific laws, directives and standards. These are listed individually on the CE certificate accompanying each Mastercycler®. Compliance with such directives is ensured in part through cooperation with external institutions, such as the TÜV or the PTB (Federal Physical-Technical Institute). Furthermore, every Mastercycler® is individually subjected to several hours of quality control testing before delivery to the customer.
