Are the lunches in private school better than the public schools lunches?

It depends on the school, it varies a lot. At one private high school my son may attend, they make all their own food, similar to public school, in their cafeteria kitchen. But it’s actually pretty good, better than when I was in high school. It’s about twice as large as the small private schools. Two other small schools basically have their meals catered. Simple but really, really good food. My son had lunch when he toured one school, I think they give prospective students lunch on purpose, because it was so good my son decided that it was a great school. Another school has organic healthy great-tasting food brought in from a service every day. Some schools, like my son’s K – 8, has lunch brought in by places like KFC, In N Out, Pizza Hut, El Pollo Loco, and other local restaurants, once or twice a week. The rest of the week they bag it.
