Are the Leica D-LUX 3 and C-LUX 2 still made in Germany?
No, they are not, but that doesn’t affect their quality. Leica’s digital cameras, other than the DMR and the M8, are produced in Japan by Panasonic. While the earliest Leica digital cameras were rebranded Fujifilm models, all current Leica digital cameras except the R8/R9 Digital Modul-R and M8 are rebranded versions of Panasonic’s Lumix digital cameras.
