Are the LED bulbs brighter than the standard bulbs?

0

Most LEDs emit a focused beam of light. Therefore the light is very bright at small angles, but very dim at larger angles. The advantage of standard bulbs over LEDs is that regular bulbs emit or disperse equal amounts of light everywhere and are therefore very good for backlighting. However, since LEDs usually emit a focused beam of light, they provide a ppor substitute for backlighting unless your system is designed to use LEDs. When replacing automotive bulbs with LEDs, you have to be sure that the LEDs will properly light the dials, gauges, etc. That’s why at Lightrikz we’ve done a lot of research using different types and styles of LEDs to find the ones that work best. Therefore, the LEDs in our kits provide about the same brightness of light as the standard bulbs. However, there are many other advantages of LEDs. Please see the above question.
