Are the JAZconvert currencies the exact currencies that will be charged to the web site customer?
JAZconvert is designed for informational purposes to help web site visitors see an approximate cost of products and services in their home currency. The currency conversion amount actually charged to a consumer’s credit card is dependent upon a combination of the payment gateway used and the credit card bank/company’s exchange rates at the exact time when credit card is charged (with different banks charging different rates). For this reason, the exact international rates appearing with JAZconvert, will not be the exact rates charged by the credit card company and appearing on the customer’s credit card statement.
